Vital Student Links for Projects
Project Foundry is the "desktop" program that helps TAGOS students to navigate through the project process while organizing logged time and progress for advisors to monitor and communicate back to students. Project Foundry also allows electronic portfolios to showcase student work for employers and post-secondary schools.
ALEKS is a web-based program that provides individualized mathematics assesment and personalized learning correlated to Wisconsin state standards. Through an artificial intelligence engine and adaptive questioning, ALEKS assesses a student's knowledge and delivers precise instruction on the exact toics the student is most ready to learn. As a result, ALEKS targets gaps in student skills and enables immediate success in learning new material.
NoodleTools (AKA NoodleBib) is an online notetaking tool that allows students to create, organize, and use e-notecards to build information for their research projects. The web site also assists students in creating proper Works Cited to assure they are giving credit to the sources they obtained their information from avoiding e-plagarism.

urnitin.com is a site students and staff will use to submit, revise, check, and assess t

eir student essays/papers. The site has the ability to comb the Internet and review the paper looking for potential plagarism issues. Students will get a report from the site and then have the opportunity to fix these issues to assure they are submitting quality writing that gives credit to the sources used. The site also will be used for peer-review and staff assessment of student work.
