Experience Days provide opportunities for students to step outside of their comfort zone and try new and different things that they might not otherwise experience. Past locations for Experience Days have included Cave of the Mounds, Oak Hill Cemetery, Shedd Aquarium, and American Players Theatre.

Experience Days take place approximately every three weeks during the school year, usually on Fridays. Students typically earn 10 hours or 0.1 credits in a relevant subject area for participation in the experience and completion of a written reflection. Students who do not attend the experience are expected to attend school for a half day of project work.
